Rules

Core Standard

Protect the shared story. Deliberately undermining immersion, trolling, or acting in bad faith to ruin roleplay for others is treated as a serious violation.

If you submit a report, include clear evidence and a short factual summary so staff can review quickly.

Metagaming

• Your character may only act on information they could reasonably know in-world. Out-of-character sources (Discord DMs, streams, voice comms, external chats) cannot be used for in-character advantage.
• Secret or private RP outcomes must not be exposed in public OOC spaces.
• Do not escalate OOC conflict from IC events, or inject OOC hostility into IC scenes.
• Character naming and identity must fit the Elder Scrolls setting. Do not copy famous real-world or pop-culture personas directly.

OOC Messages and DMs

OOC chat and direct messages may be used for logistics, but not for tactical or sensitive IC information.

Powergaming

• Do not force outcomes or portray impossible actions without meaningful risk, resistance, or consequence.
• If an action requires an item, skill, or access right, your character must actually have it.
• Chance-based outcomes should use the server standard roll system; do not bypass it with forced emotes.
• In-world status and privileges are earned through roleplay on this server, not granted by backstory claims alone.

Adult or graphic themes always require explicit consent from everyone present. If consent is withdrawn, stop immediately.

FearRP

• Roleplay believable fear when your character faces real danger to life, safety, or social standing.
• Different fear responses are valid, but they must remain plausible.

Supernatural characters should react appropriately to natural enemies and exposure risks.

Housing Limits

• Housing is limited to one property per player account unless staff explicitly approve an exception.

Community Conduct

• Follow Discord Community Guidelines in all official channels and server-linked spaces.
• Minimum age is 18+.
• Harassment, targeted abuse, threats, and discriminatory behavior are prohibited.
• Do not spam, flood, or disrupt community spaces.
• Illegal content, piracy links, exploit distribution, and malicious software discussion are prohibited.

Exploits and Bugs

• Do not intentionally abuse bugs, glitches, or unintended mechanics.
• If you discover a vulnerability, report it to staff instead of using it.
• Third-party cheat software or automation tools are prohibited.
• Deliberate item duplication is forbidden.

Administration

• Staff may make case-by-case decisions where rules do not explicitly cover a scenario.
• Attempts to deceive staff, falsify evidence, or obstruct moderation are treated as severe violations.
• Staff are not obligated to respond to direct messages outside official support/report channels.

Zero-Tolerance Hate Policy

Hate speech, slurs, and dehumanizing language targeting protected characteristics (including race, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation) are grounds for immediate and potentially permanent removal.

Language

Official communication language is English. Private scenes may use other languages only where all participants clearly understand context.
